Ultimo accolade: Kelly Brook shows off her famous curves in the new video promo for Ultimo's Spring collection

After several failed forays into the world of television and cinema, Kelly Brook has gone back to what she knows best - modelling.

The 30-year-old was announced as the new face and body of lingerie brand Ultimo last month and she stars in a new video modeling their Spring collection released this week.

Miss Brook showcases her famous curves while wearing Ultimo's Coco Balcony bra and shorts set in the new video.

With her face slightly obscured by her curly locks, the black and white video pans across the model's body to a soundtrack by AC/DC

The Ultimo job is her first high-profile modelling assignment since turning 30 last November.

She follows in the footsteps of the brand's previous models Mel B, Helena Christensen, Rachel Hunter, Sarah Harding and Melinda Messenger

Back to modeling: Kent-born Brook has returned to modeling after pursuing an acting career

Having been voted the Sexiest Woman in the World by the readers of FHM magazine, it's no surprise her 32E-26-36 hourglass figure has been chosen for the Spring campaign.

Ultimo creator Michelle Mone OBE said: 'Kelly is a natural beauty and is effortlessly sexy, making her the perfect choice for Ultimo. She epitomises the Ultimo woman and looks incredible in our new designs.

'This campaign is our most striking yet and represents the qualities of the new range; irresistibly sexy, luxurious, aspirational and feminine. The pictures really do speak for themselves.'

Kelly recently hit out at critics who have panned her attempts to break into acting, and she explained how difficult it had been for her to carve out a career for herself in the acting world.

She said: 'I never respond to critics. When I was at school no one said, "When I grow up I want to be a critic".

'It’s still a man’s world. I’ve had to fight to be something that isn’t just a pretty face or body.'

However, her latest role, in 3D movie Piranha, won't help the actress to be taken more seriously.

According to The Mirror, she said: 'It's just a big, fun B-movie - lots of boobs, blood, gore and drama. I don't think I'll be getting any Oscars for it.

'In Piranha, there's lots of cool people. It's about a lot of fish that eat a lot of buff boys and big-boobied girls. It's all set during spring break.'
